If I were re-elected for a second term, being Latin American, I would continue working on the integration of ‘the rest of the world’ on sharing experiences and research, for a better understanding and management of the climacteric around the world. We are working for a way to help on the process of writing papers for publication in international journals for non-English-speaking menopause specialists. We are also working for the diffusion of IMS educative material in the original languages of the diverse countries which are members of it. I am promoting the participation of Latin American countries in ´Our Menopause World´, a space for sharing thoughts, experiences, news, publications. I wish to achieve the possibility of opening small-budget research grants for members. Also, our next World Congress will be held in a Latin American country: Mexico, so we need to enforce this big project.
