Following the successful regional IMS conferences in Mumbai and Taipei, the 3rd meeting was held in Belgrade. As was the case in the previous events, it was a joint project with a national organization, this time the Serbian Menopause Society and Prof. Svetlana Vujovic. The format of the conference included a half day pre-congress course, and 2 days for the main program. All board members gave presentations, which were mainly based on case histories. Local experts participated in the program as well, and some of the lectures were in Serbian. 350 people were registered to the conference, including local and international attendees. There was also a small, but nice exhibition area. The social events were remarkable and highlighted by very good live music and dancing. All in all, this was another successful event, and the Society is looking for future collaborations with local societies on such types of regional conferences that will further expose the IMS to new audiences.
