NEW FOR 2018
IMS World Congress Travel Bursaries
The object of the World Congress travel bursaries is to provide the means for young health professionals to attend the 16th World Congress on Menopause in Vancouver on the 6th – 9th June 2018 to further their knowledge of menopause medicine and the many related fields.
We would expect the recipients to become ambassadors in their own countries to share the knowledge they have learned with their peers.
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must be under 40 years of age at the start of the Congress and the first author of an abstract submitted as a poster or oral communication at the Congress.
An interest in one of the fields associated with the menopause would be an advantage.
These bursaries are available for IMS members and non-members alike.
Awards
There will be 16 travel bursaries of £750.00 awarded to the most deserving applicants as decided by the Awards Subcommittee of the IMS Board.
The 6 candidates who are deemed to have submitted the best abstracts in the Robert Greenblatt prize will also receive free registration and 3 nights’ accommodation as well as the bursary.
All bursary recipients will receive an IMS certificate suitable for framing.
Applications
If you would like to apply, please email IMS Executive Director, Lee Tomkins, for an application form.
Deadline
The deadline for submission of all applications will be 28th March 2018.
