Born with a dream of becoming a doctor and saving lives, Himanshi is in her final year postgraduate residency pursuing Masters of Surgery in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in ABVIMS & DR RML Hospital, in the capital New Delhi, India. She secured admission into one of the prestigious university, KGMU, for her under graduation in the ‘City of Nawabs’ Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. While undergoing training in dealing high risk pregnancies, gynaecological surgeries and reproductive medicine; I developed special interest in the field of ‘Menopause’. She decided to do a research study in this phase of midlife health and started working on empowering women’s health, where a woman assumes the end of her life. I am dedicated enough and committed to my subject, that I privileged to be a part of this 19th World Congress on Menopause. Being Young Bursary recipient, she also has a golden opportunity to co-chair an oral session with expert commentators and enhance her knowledge.
Apart from the scrubs, her roller coaster life makes me grow stronger day by day. Belief in God and support of her family helps her face every challenges. An avid reader with a thirst for adventure takes her to uncharted territories, where she discovers new experiences and cultures. This balance between profession and passion fuels her enthusiasm for life. An optimistic and holistic approach teaches her to live every moment, laugh every day and love beyond words.
