Jiayu Li, M.D., M.S., Ph.D., is a lecturer at the School of Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. Dr Li has a strong academic and research background, holding a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Harbin Medical University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Sciences from Chulalongkorn University. As an active member of the AOFOG Violence Against Women (VAW) Working Group, she leads a multi-country survey on VAW in Asia and Oceania, contributing to significant advancements in women’s health and empowerment.
In addition to her expertise in reproductive health, global health, and women’s empowerment, Dr Li has a growing interest in menopause-related health issues, particularly focusing on the neurological health of women experiencing menopause. Her research has led to several high-impact publications in prestigious journals, exploring intersections of reproductive health, epidemiology, and public health. Dr Li’s commitment to global collaboration is evident in her leadership of international research projects that foster partnerships across continents to improve global health.
