Bari Kaplan
It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved colleague, mentor and teacher, Prof. Bari Kaplan.
Prof. Kaplan served as the head of the Israel Menopause Society for the past 30 years, worked in the Rabin hospital and trained and mentored generations of specialists, physicians and paramedical clinicians. He did so with the intent of furthering scientific research, promoting knowledge of assessment and treatment of menopausal women and moulding a multidisciplinary approach to women at this stage of life . All this with humility and extreme devotion.
Just recently he attended the IMS conference in Italy where he presented research on GSM.
Though he will be sorely missed by all, we are fortunate to have learned so much from this great man. His teaching and passion for helping women achieve the highest quality of life, is a tremendous legacy.
