About ACCMYO
The Costa Rican Society of Climacteric, Menopause and Osteoporosis was founded on September 25, 1997, to:
- Promote the study of human beings in their climacteric, both physiologically and pathologically, bringing together those interested in this area and promoting academic exchange as well as interdisciplinary research between the various professionals in the area.
- Maintain permanent links with national organizations of other countries and international organizations dedicated to disciplines related to climacteric and osteoporosis.
- Participate and promote congresses, symposiums, conferences, post-graduate courses and scientific meetings of any kind that are considered useful for the progress of knowledge on menopause and osteoporosis.
- Ensure the ethical and moral management of the intervention of the health team in menopausal patients.

ACCMYO activity
